2022 iPhones to Support 8K Video

According to renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will include 48 MP main camera and 8K video recording support on iPhones next year. He also states that the 5.4-inch screen iPhone mini will be replaced by a new model with a 6.7-inch screen.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, known for consistent leaks on Apple products, made remarkable statements about 2022 model iPhones. Kuo, in the note shared with its investors, said that Apple will make a new regulation regarding the screen sizes of iPhones next year. In addition, Kuo expects a significant improvement in the camera.

Kuo reminded that Apple introduced a 5.4-inch “iPhone 12 mini” for the first time last year. In addition, Kuo states that the “mini” model will be released this year, but Apple will bid farewell to the iPhone mini by 2022. The iPhone 12 mini has almost the same features as the iPhone 12, except for the screen size. However, this phone did not attract as much attention as other models.

Apple may announce two different iPhones with 6.7-inch screens next year

According to Kuo’s statements, Apple will again introduce four different iPhone models next year. However, two of these models will have a screen size of 6.1 inches and the other two 6.7 inches. Therefore, we can say that Apple will make the difference between standard and “Pro” models only at the hardware point.

According to Kuo, Apple will include a 48MP main camera in its high-end iPhone 14 models that it will launch next year. This main camera will also have a 12 MP camera mode, thanks to its quad pixel technology. It will also have a pixel size of 2.5um when you combine four pixels. In addition, this camera will offer a serious increase in photo quality compared to the current iPhone 12 model with 1.7um pixel size.
