Acer Introduces Two Notebooks with Ryzen 5000 Series Processors

Acer introduced the Aspire 5 and Aspire 7 laptops, which host the Ryzen 5000 processor series that AMD recently introduced. New computers came in a relatively thin build, despite the hardware they had.

AMD recently introduced the Ryzen 5000 series processors, which it defines as “the most powerful laptop processors”, at the CES 2021 event. The first laptops using AMD‘s new processor series also gradually showed themselves. This time, the new series appeared on two new laptops announced by Acer.

Acer introduced the Aspire 5 and Aspire 7 laptops, powered by AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors. The new computers focus on reducing the burden of users using applications that need some power. Computers are relatively thin, despite their hardware.

Acer Aspire 5

The new Acer Aspire 5 is home to AMD Ryzen 5000 series processor options, as well as the Radeon RX 640 mobile graphics unit. In addition to having 24 GB of RAM, the computer can be purchased with up to 1 TB NVMe SSD or up to 2 TB hard disk. Coming with a USB Type-C connection, the Acer Aspire 5 also offers Wi-Fi 6 support.

The 15.6-inch screen of the computer is home to Acer’s BlueLightShield technology as well as FullHD resolution. Thanks to this technology, the effect of blue light, which is harmful to health, is minimized. The computer promises comfortable portability with its thickness of 17.95 millimeters.

The Acer Aspire 7 is equipped with more powerful hardware than the Aspire 5. The computer is equipped with the same serial processors as well as the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card. In addition to this graphics card, the computer has 32 GB DDR4 RAM and up to 1 TB PCIe-based SSD storage. USB Type-C and Wi-Fi 6 support is also included in the computer.

The Acer Aspire 7 also comes with a 15.6 inch screen and the same resolution, but has narrower borders. However, the computer hosts Acer Color Intelligence and ExaColor technologies, different from the Aspire 5. When it comes to portability, the Aspire is no more than 5, as the computer only weighs 2.15 kilograms.

Acer‘s new computer Aspire 5 will go on sale in North America with a price tag of $ 549.99 and arrive in Europe, the Middle East and Africa in February with a price tag of 699 euros. The Acer Aspire 7 will have a price tag of 899 euros.
