Among Us Hack Attack Spams Message
InnerSloth’s murder-mystery game Among Us, was targeted by a spam hack attack that could have affected millions of players.
A user with the nickname “Eris Loris” shared a message in the chat window of Among Us saying “Follow the Eris Loris YouTube channel and vote for Donald Trump in the 2020 Elections”.
InnerSloth confirmed the attack on their official Twitter address. An emergency update was released, but players reported that they were still receiving the spam message. “Eurogamer” spoke to the person who committed the spam attack. According to him, the threat has been eliminated. Eris Loris’s YouTube channel however, is still filled with videos showing how to commit hack attacks that can be easily done at home, and the types of spam attack. As for the pro-Trump message, the person committed the attack simply stated: “I’m a college student and I support Trump.”
