Although it has been discussed many times over, AnTuTu announced the best mid-segment Android devices of December. According to the statements made by the platform, the best mid-segment phone of December was the Redmi 10X 5G, powered by MediaTek‘s Dimensity 820 processor. In December, when Huawei‘s Kirin processors and MediaTek‘s Dimensity processors competed fiercely; we did not see Qualcomm’s Snapdragon family often.

The version of the Redmi 10X 5G with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage; has reached the top with 400 thousand 742 points in the AnTuTu tests. The strongest competitor of this smartphone was Huawei Nova 7 Pro with Kirin 985 processor. The phone, which scored 399 thousand 883 points in the tests, seems to offer a very small performance difference compared to Redmi 10X 5G. Third, on the list is the Nova 7 with Kirin 985 processor.

In the fourth place of the AnTuTu list, we see the the Redmi 10X Pro 5G model. The device, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 820 processor, received 398 thousand 212 points in the AnTuTu tests; with a combination of 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage space. The list we see Huawei in the 5th to 7th rows of the list places a Qualcomm processor phone for the first time in the 8th row. Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, powered by Snapdragon 750G, is far from the top of the list with 348 thousand 343 points.

Although AnTuTu prepared the list for the last month of 2020, it seems that this ranking will change completely in a few months. The reason for this is the Redmi K40, which will be powered by 7th generation Snapdragon processors. What this smartphone will offer is not yet known, but the Redmi K40; which will come with processors such as 775G or 777, can completely change the balances on the list. According to the information obtained, Qualcomm’s 7th generation new processors will reach the end consumer in the first quarter of 2021. Don’t forget to check our other news here.
