Apple Closing Stores Worldwide
Apple has decided to close many of its stores in both the USA and Europe; after the coronavirus cases have been on the rise all over the world. All of the company’s stores in California were closed until a second announcement. In the coronavirus epidemic, the number of cases has been on the rise all over the world; especially in the last few days. Many countries have had the highest numbers of cases and deaths ever seen. As a result, it causes the measures to be tightened again.
As part of these measures, many brands started to close their physical stores again. Sales continue mainly online. Apple was also affected by the epidemic and decided to close many of its stores in the USA, South America and Europe. The company took fast action at the beginning of the epidemic and closed its stores all over the world and started to provide online services. Especially after the rising numbers in California, the company closed all its stores in the region.
The company only operates in California with a total of 53 stores. Apple Stores in other states in the US are also closed. The company has also begun closing Apple stores in Mexico, Brazil and the UK. Considering the ones that were closed in Germany and the Netherlands last week, it is known that more than 100 stores of Apple are currently closed. It is not yet known when the stores will start serving again.
