Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Became Ubisoft’s Breakthrough Game On PC

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, released this month by Ubisoft, has already become one of the most successful games in the series to date. The game managed to become the best-selling production in the AC series in the first week of release. Ubisoft has released an announcement this month about the new Assassin’s Creed game it has released for almost all current consoles and PC. Ubisoft stated that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has achieved record number of sales on the first week of released among of all Assassin’s Creed games to date.

The France-based game studio stated that their final Assassins Creed game sold more copies than the previous Assassin’s Creed games in the first week of their release. The game also managed to become the biggest launch for Ubisoft on PC to date, despite not being released on Steam yet. The producer of the game, Julien Laferriere, thanked the fans for their support regarding the achievement. Laferriere stated that releasing the game during the COVID-19 outbreak was very difficult for his teams. He also mentioned that they have quite strong content plans for Valhalla.

Ubisoft also shared some interesting statistics about the game. According to the statistics, the players of Assassin’s Creed; traveled 4 million km in the open world of Valhalla, built 55 campus buildings, played 3.5 million Orlog games and won 1.8 million drinking races. In addition, it was stated in the statement that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla took a decisive step for the series, but it is still an AC game.
