Call of Duty: Warzone Running At 120 FPS On Xbox Series X, Only Running At 60 FPS On PS5.

Call of Duty: Warzone runs at 120 FPS on Xbox Series X with a new patch. But, it can get a maximum of 60 FPS on PlayStation 5. This issue is expected to be resolved with a patch to be released on the PS side in the coming days. With the new patch update released this week for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare & Warzone, Infinity Ward has updated the game’s performance on the next generation Xbox Series X. Call of Duty: Warzone can run at 120 FPS on the Xbox Series X after the latest patch update. According to the Microsoft store page, in addition to 120 FPS, the game also support HDR10 and 4K Ultra HD

Eurogamer, which tested Microsoft‘s 120 FPS promise in real life, confirmed that the game reached 120 FPS in some matches. During the tests, it is stated that the game fluctuates between 100 and 120 FPS. On the other hand, PlayStation 5 players can only play Call of Duty: Warzone with 60 FPS. Gamers had the opportunity to experience Call of Duty: Warzone on PlayStation 5 and according to them, the game is still running the PlayStation 4 version and only 60 FPS can be achieved. Eurogamer tried various methods to increase performance in the PS5 version, but could not go beyond 60 FPS.

On the hardware side, both Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 run at speeds of 3.8 GHz and 3.5 GHz, respectively. Although there are some differences between the two devices, it seems unlikely that one can double the other in terms of frame rate. For this reason, it is safe to assume this problem on the PlayStation side will be resolved with a patch that very soon.
