Cyberpunk Removed From PS Store
With the decision taken in partnership with CDPR and Sony, Cyberpunk 2077 is no longer sold in PS Store. According to Kotaku, PlayStation 4 owners’ requests to return and refund the game for Cyberpunk 2077 have come to an end. Sony has confirmed that they will deal with refunds but they removed Cyberpunk from the PlayStation Store. CD Projekt Red has vowed to “bring Cyberpunk 2077 back to PlayStation Store as soon as possible” in a statement to players.
The brief statement posted on the PlayStation website is as follows:
“SIE strives to provide a high level of customer satisfaction. For this reason, we will begin offering a full refund to all players who purchased the game through PlayStation Store. SIE will also remove Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store until further notice.”
“After confirming that you have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 on PlayStation Store, we will begin processing your refund. Please note that refund completion may vary depending on your payment method and financial institution.“
If you go to PlayStation Store and search for “Cyberpunk” right now, you won’t get any results. Also, Sony has prepared a separate page for the refund. Apart from these, if we go back to 2018, we see that a written tweet has come true.
