An open source tool called DLSS Swapper allows us to manually update the DLSS library in all supported games. Since the release of NVIDIA‘s DLSS technology, many new versions have been released. In this context, game developers rarely prefer to update their DLSS libraries when a new version is released. An independent developer has created a tool that allows us to update the DLSS library in any supported game: DLSS Swapper.
It is possible to easily update DLSS in any compatible game by changing the library files. However, these updates come with improvements and naturally there are times when they cause problems. In addition, TechPowerUp has a database of the entire DLSS library. So you can access the original files for certain games when you encounter problems with the updated version.
With DLSS Swapper published by Brad Moore, you can select the DLSS library you want to use, download it, and replace the DLSS library files currently in use. Currently this tool relies on the TechPowerUp database. However, it is also possible to use files obtained from elsewhere. The DLSS Swapper tool does not have a compiled version yet and will be released soon. You can also download all the files of the tool on GitHub.
