Genshin Impact: Update 1.2 Released!

miHoYo has announced the 1.2 update for Genshin Impact. In fact, according to the announcement made by the team, the 1.2 update of the Genshin Impact game comes with the ‘Dragonspine‘ map. Dragonspine is a frozen mountain range south of Mondstadt and is home to various unique creatures. It also contains plenty of content, rare artifacts, and multiple 4-star weapon descriptions. Covered with snow all year round, Dragonspine‘s extreme cold weather also forces every traveler to survive the cold.

A new season event, ‘The Chalk Prince and The Dragon‘ takes place in Dragonspine. According to the statement, the passengers will join Albedo, the Genius Alchemist and Research Team captain of Mondstadt‘s Favonius Knights, to investigate a sword with mysterious power known as the Festering Desire. By participating in the seasonal event, players will not only get the Festering Desire and heal it completely. They will also be able to receive rich rewards from the event store, including the Crown of Insight.

Two new five-star characters from Albedo and Ganyu will be added to the game as playable characters. Albedo works as a young alchemist using a sword and the power of geography in Mondstadt. Ganyu, on the other hand, is a half-human, half-skilled Cyro archer who serves as Liyue Qixing‘s ambassador and secretary. In Update 1.2, players will be able to take a closer look at Ganyu‘s story through personal side quests.
