Google Will Show TikTok and Instagram Videos in Search Results
Google is bringing a new section above the search results with the new feature it is testing for the searches service. This section provides direct access to short videos on Instagram and TikTok. It is currently unknown when the feature will be available. US-based Google has started testing a new feature in its internet search service for mobile applications. This feature allows a user searching on Google to directly view videos on Instagram and TikTok. Thus, the strongest representatives of social media will be integrated into Google, so to speak.
The feature that Google has started to test, shows videos on TikTok and Instagram above search results. In other words, users will be able to reach both short videos and other results about their search on the same screen. It is not yet known when the feature, which is currently being tested with a very limited user base, will be available to all users.
As a matter of fact, Google directly shows the videos on YouTube in its search results. However, the new feature tested expands the scope of this. With this feature, users will have the opportunity to directly access Instagram and TikTok videos; related to a topic tag or term they are looking for. The feature discovered by the software developers was also verified by Google. Speaking to TechCrunch, a spokesperson said that such a feature does indeed exist, but is currently in an early stage. So we will have to wait a while to use this feature.
