Cross-Save Support for Hades
Supergiant Games announced cross-save support for its award-winning game Hades. In other words, players who own both PC and Nintendo Switch will be able to transfer the save files between the two platforms and continue the game from where they left off. Note that the Steam and Epic Games Store versions of the game already have this support.
Supergiant Games recommends Hades players to use separate save slots between PC and Switch versions to prevent possible accidental overwrites. Players will now find a Cross-Save option in the main menu, so they will have a copy of Hades on their Steam or Epic Games account.
When its enabled, the registration of the Switch version will be uploaded to the cloud upon exiting the game; and the specified PC version will be allowed to access them. The save files of PC versions will be synced to the cloud by default through their launcher; so there will be no separate in-game option to enable this. Hades is currently only available on PC and Switch platforms. On the other hand, it is heralded that more console launches will come soon. Most likely, these versions will include cross-save support as well. Don’t forget to check our other news for future updates and other games here.
