Halo Infinite‘s multiplayer tech preview beta will kick off tomorrow, July 29. The beta will run until Sunday, August 1st; and will offer a short experience to those invited to test Halo Infinite‘s multiplayer features. While the United States-based software and technology giant Microsoft is preparing to launch the free multiplayer game mode this year; it is making the first of many technical previews for Halo Infinite available.
The first preview will include playtesting against AI (Artificial Intelligence) bots with a bot arena to “gather feedback on bot behavior and online performance , ” according to 343 Industries . This arena will feature the hunter mode across three maps and various challenges over the weekend.
Jackpot for players
Players will also be able to try the Weapons Practice episode of Halo Infinite this weekend. A way to test weapons on a simple shooting range before engaging in arena battles. There will be a variety of weapons to test including snipers, pistols, the classic needle machine and the MA40 AR.
343 Industries is also testing Halo Infinite‘s UI, including how players unlock battle passes, interact with challenges, and use the in-game store. According to 343 Industries, “This technical preview will include a shortened Battle Pass and a small selection of Customization options planned for launch.”
This test will also include the new Halo Waypoint web and mobile app , where you can customize a Spartan or view battle pass progress and challenges . 343 Industries plans to share more details about; the Halo Infinite technical preview during a livestream later today at 5PM ET/2PM PT.
