Huawei released a beta version of Petal Maps, the map application announced about a month ago. Published via AppGallery, the application offers almost all of the features in Google Maps. Chinese technology company Huawei released the mobile version of the map application “Petal Maps“, which was announced about a month ago, on its application store AppGallery. As of now, the application is still in beta. But, it can only be used as a stable version for models running EMUI 11 (Mate 40, Mate 30 or P40).

According to the information in AppGallery, Petal Maps can be used in more than 140 countries. So, what does Petal Maps, developed by Huawei as a competitor to Google Maps, offers for the users? According to the information announced by Huawei, the application can present both 2D or 3D images. By using this application, users can make excursions and discover new places. In addition, a location to be examined can be searched on the map. Huawei states that Petal Maps provides instant traffic data at certain locations, and can also create alternative routes. This of course, is an indication that Petal Maps can also be used for navigation purposes.
