Intel Core i7-11700K Geekbench Results Revealed

The 11th Generation Intel Core i7-11700K, which is expected to be introduced in the coming months; appeared on the benchmark platform Geekbench. It can be seen that the processor outperformed the AMD rival Ryzen 7 5800X in both single and multi-core tests. Intel’s new 11th Generation Core i7-11700K processor was detected in the Geekbench database with clock speeds reaching 5.0 GHz. The company’s new processor, which will rival AMD, is based on the Cypress Cove core design; which is expected to greatly increase IPC compared to Skylake-based processors.

Before moving on to the benchmark results, to talk about the technical details of the Core i7-11700K; the processor running at 3.60 GHz base clock consists of 8 cores and 16 threads. Although the clock speed can go up to 5.0 GHz with overclocking; the 14 nm production process makes the i7-11700K one step behind in power consumption compared to AMD competitors produced with 7 nm technology.

Intel Core i7-11700K Geekbench Results Revealed

The Core i7-11700K, tested on the 400 series motherboard platform called Gigabyte AORUZ 490 Master; managed to score 1807 in the single-core test and 10,673 points in the multi-core test. To make these numbers a little more meaningful, we can say that the processor is 34% more performance for single core; and 26% for multi-core compared to its predecessor i7-10700K. If we compare these numbers with the AMD competitor Ryzen 7 5800X, we can say that the Intel Core i7-11700K processor is about 9% faster on both single-core and multi-core sides. However, we can see that the i7-11700K is more powerful in a single core compared to AMD’s top model Ryzen 9 5950X. In multi-core tests, the Ryzen 9 5950X is at the top with 14,471 points.
