Intel made statements within the scope of Computex 2021 events and came hard to AMD with Apple’s M1 processor. Intel compared its processors with Apple’s processors in terms of gaming and declared that they are 100 percent better in this regard.
Computex 2021 is one of the world’s largest computer fairs. This fair started with important announcements from Intel. Intel said that the gaming performance of computers running on its own processors is better than all Macs. Already after the M1 processor, the relationship between Apple and Intel was broken. The arrival of such a statement did not go unnoticed.
This wasn’t Intel’s only statement under Computex 2021. The company reminded that a serious part of the world’s most popular games cannot be played on Mac computers today. Among the games that Intel highlights, there are productions such as PUBG, GTA 5, Apex Legends, Cyberpunk 2077, Valorant and Valheim.
Intel also beats AMD
Intel targeted not only Apple but also AMD in a slideshow. The company is creating the above graph of popular games in the market and also benchmarked computers using the AMD Radeon Pro 5600M. Intel brought computers with Core i5-11400H and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 against all this data.
The fact that Apple develops its own computers with its own processors has put a serious strain on Intel. Because one of the company’s biggest customers was Apple, and such a move reduced Intel’s revenues. Intel has occasionally run ad campaigns critical of Apple and macOS systems. The most recent of these was the Computex 2021 fair. However, Apple does not care about Intel’s attitude and continues to look its way. According to statements made by Apple, every Mac released in 2022 will be equipped with M-series processors.
