The performance test of the Pro model of the iPhone 13 series, which Apple showcased recently, has emerged. The results are extremely promising.
The Apple event, which the technology world has been waiting for a long time, took place recently. As part of this launch, the company also introduced the iPhone 13 family, the Watch Series 7 and the new iPad mini. While the introduced devices were appreciated by the users, naturally all eyes were on the iPhone 13 series. This year, the company focused specifically on the performance of the iPhone 13 family. So was this really an exaggeration? Because the company claimed that there was a GPU increase especially in its new smartphones.
Although the event is over, new details about the iPhone 13 series continue to emerge. Finally, the Pro model of the series appeared on Geekbench. The score of the smartphone also revealed some fine details about its processor.
All of the new smartphones announced by Apple are powered by the A15 Bionic processor. But the GPUs of these smartphones are not the same. In this context, the iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13 had a quad-core GPU. Apple‘s other products, the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, had a 5-core GPU. The iPhone 13 Pro, which entered the Geekbench tests, was found to be impressive as a result of the test.
Here is the Geekbench result of the iPhone 13 Pro
Apple called the 5-GPU version of the A15 Bionic “the most powerful smartphone chip in the world“. Geekbench has revealed that this is indeed true. The score of the iPhone 13 Pro in Geekbench is 14 thousand 216. The Geekbench score of the iPhone 12 Pro with the A14 Bionic processor, which was released last year, was 9 thousand 123. In other words, the iPhone 13 Pro is at least 55 percent more powerful than the iPhone 12 Pro.
At its launch, Apple said that the iPhone 13 will offer at least 50 percent better graphics performance than other smartphones. The results of the tests in Geekbench reveal that the company keeps its promise.
