New Update to Improve System Performance for PlayStation 5 Released

Sony has released a new update for PlayStation 5. According to the patch notes, the update only improves the system performance. It is not yet known whether some of the errors reported by the gamers have been fixed. The Japanese technology giant Sony has released a new system update for PlayStation 5, the next generation game console for gamers all over the world, as of last week. Although the update, which has the version code of 20.02-02.26.00, is 886 MB in size, Sony did not share details about the content of the update.

According to patch notes shared by Sony, the new update focuses solely on improving system performance. Considering the size of the update, we hope Sony has made several significant improvements at once. These changes are expected to help fix crashes and other issues on PlayStation 5. Also, some users complained that the DualSense gamepads are not charging when the console is in sleep mode. It is possible that Sony has fixed one or more of these problems with the software update in question.

For those who do not know; PlayStation 5 is available worldwide as of November 19. The interest in PS5 was so intense that the first batch of PS5s offered for sale were sold out immediately. Sony even made an official statement about this and announced that the PlayStation 5 is sold out all over the world. Thereupon, PlayStation 5s are being sold in the USA for ridiculous prices like 50 thousand dollars.
