New statements have been made about Battlefield 2042. In the published blog post, it was mentioned how artificial intelligence soldiers will work.
Last month, Battlefield 2042 was unveiled, and a playable trailer was also published. The game, set in the present day, will only have a multiplayer mode and will support 128 players. Because it was difficult to fill these 128-person servers at times, the developers indicated that bots will be added. DICE has disclosed the bot system’s design.
You cannot disable bots that clog the server.
It can be tough to fill the 128-player Battlefield 2042 servers at times. This is why bots were created for servers. “Unless the battle is full or nearly empty, you will see more AI soldiers than players,” DICE wrote in a blog post before revealing that human players will replace AI bots as they join the match. There are also some changes for gamers who dislike AI bots.
Normally, there are Specialist class soldiers in the game, each with their own set of qualities. Because AI soldiers cannot become adept soldiers, they are unable to employ Wingsuits or hooks. They will still be able to fight alongside you and pick up your fallen friends. AI troops will be the default for servers, with no option to disable them.
On July 22, we’ll learn more about Battlefield 2042 at the EA Play Live event. On October 22, the game will be released for the PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
