Nioh Remaster Coming To PS5
Koei Tecmo announced that they will publish Nioh to PS5 as a remastered collection in 2021 and that they are also releasing Nioh 2 on PC.
Four Nioh games will be released on three different platforms on February 5, 2021. On PS5, players can purchase The Collection, which includes Nioh Remastered and Nioh 2 Remastered, or purchase games as separate editions. PS4 and PC players can also get The Remastered Edition, which packs the base game with its three DLC expansions: The Tengu’s Disciple, Darkness in the Capital, and The First Samurai.
Players who choose to purchase Complete Edition on PS4 will be able to upgrade to remastered edition for PS5 with no additional cost. Additionally, owners of the Nioh 2 base game on PS4 can upgrade to the remastered version on the PS5, but the DLC’s they don’t have will not be included.
PS5 remastered version of game support 4K resolution and up to 120 FPS gameplay. The PC version of the game supports HDR and 144Hz monitors as well as 4K Ultra HD and ultra-widescreen resolutions with frame rates up to 120FPS on eligible systems. Game controllers as well as full mouse and keyboard custom mapping are also supported in this version. The PC version of the game has ‘Valve Helmet’, a piece of armor available in all purchases of the game. You can watch it in the trailer below.
