Computex 2021 started with NVIDIA introducing two new graphics cards in the RTX 3000 series. In line with previous claims, two new high-end GPUs named RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti have appeared. Computex 2021 started fast and one of the first announcements made at the event was about the NVIDIA GeForce RTX series. It has been announced that two new high-end models, RTX 3070 Ti and RTX 3080 Ti, will be added to the series.
As it is evident from the Ti expression in the name, the new GPUs will be an improvement of the RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 models that are already on the market. It looks like the RTX 3080 Ti will be a model between the standard 3080 and the RTX 3090. Similarly, the 3070 Ti will be located at a point between the standard 3070 and 3080.
The RTX 3080 Ti stands out as a slightly more enhanced version of its standard version.
Here are the specs of the new GPU
80 ray tracing cores
10,240 CUDA cores
320 Tensor cores
Memory: 12GB GDDR 6X
Although the RTX 3070 Ti has the same memory as the standard version, it seems that the transition to GDDR6X has been made. This naturally provides higher memory width.
The Features Of This Graphics Processor Are As Follows:
48 ray tracing cores
6,144 CUDA cores
192 Tensor cores
The Chip Crisis Didn’t Affect NVIDIA
The fact that NVIDIA is announcing more new graphics processors right now is quite remarkable considering that much of the world is grappling with the chipset crisis. The prices announced by NVIDIA are actually not very high. However, at the moment, the prices of all graphics processors have increased, including the older GTX series. Many users are turning to gaming laptops instead of just buying graphics processors at these prices.
