China-based smartphone manufacturer OPPO introduced the new smartphones F19 Pro and F19 Pro+ 5G for the mid-segment. Equipped with the features we are used to seeing in the middle class, the devices will go on sale in India in the coming days.
OPPO, one of the best rising smartphone manufacturers of recent times, introduced its new smartphones that attract attention with their features and price. Considered as the middle segment, the Pro model comes as the successor of the F17 Pro. Released in September 2020, the 5G-supported F19 Pro+ model stands out with its first ‘Plus‘ model in the series.
While both phones are similar in terms of design, the biggest difference is on the processor side. Apart from that, both phones have a Super AMOLED display that supports FHD+ resolution, a 48 MP main camera and a 4,310 mAh battery.
The Oppo F19 Pro, which comes with a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED screen that supports 1080×2400 pixel resolution, has a hole-in-the-wall front camera placed in the left corner on this screen. It is possible to record 1080p 30 FPS video with this 16 MP resolution camera with f / 2.4 aperture.
On the back you can see the quad rear camera placed in the upper left corner. These cameras consist of 48 MP wide angle, 8 MP ultra wide angle, 2 MP macro and also a 2 MP depth sensor, respectively. The rear cameras with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) support also support 4K 30 FPS or 1080p 30/120 FPS video recording.
If we talk about the hardware part, it gets its power from the Helio P95 chipset by MediaTek. The chipset is accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal storage, while on the battery side, there is a 4.310 mAh battery with 30 W fast charging support. The device comes out of the box with the Android 11 based ColorOS 11.1 user interface.
OPPO F19 Pro+, which has similar features with the Pro model, differs from this model with its chipset. At this point, the device equipped with the Dimensity 800U 5G chip, which came out of MediaTek‘s 7 nm process, also manages to attract attention as the first 5G model of the F series. Unlike the Pro model, the device also includes 50 W fast charging support.
The price of the OPPO F19 Pro+ model with 8 GB + 128 GB configuration option in India is announced as 25,990 Indian rupees. The more affordable F19 Pro model will be on the shelves at 21,490 Indian rupees for the version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Though more affordable than the former model, the latter packs more punch in terms of hardware. Both phones has their own segments and customer profiles. They will find their place in the market without a doubt.
