Sackboy: A Big Adventure’s Multiplayer Mode Is Delayed

The online multiplayer mode for the PlayStation 5 launch game Sackboy: A Big Adventure will not be released on its original November 12, 2020 release date and will instead arrive with a “late 2020” patch.
The news announced on PlayStation.Blog, Sackboy: A Big Adventure will continue to support the local co-op on its launch day. But the online component has been delayed to ensure this “is the very best experience it can be for players and we just need a little more time to get it right so you can enjoy it to the fullest with your friends and family”.

The patch, which will bring an online multiplayer mode, will also add a cross-generational multiplayer so PS4 and PS5. This will also make game save transfers from PS4 to PS5.
Those who originally planned to buy Sackboy: A Big Adventure at launch, will be able to play the adventure alone or locally for up to 4 players.
