Smart Text Selection Tool Will Have ‘Unit Conversion’ Feature

While reading the content of a website or looking at a recipe you have recorded in your notes; you may be faced with the units of measure that you need to convert to another unit. In such a case, the easiest way is to copy and paste the relevant part to Google and search. However, Android seems to have added this feature to its ‘Smart Text Selection‘ feature; that will save users a great deal of trouble.

Smart Text Selection can convert many different units such as length, volume, and currency. In order to use this feature, users just need to select the part of the text they want to be converted; and then a ‘Convert’ option appears on the screen in addition to the classic ‘Cut’, ‘Copy’, ‘Paste’ options. When you click this option, Google automatically directs you to a tab where the conversion was performed.
