Although no official statement has been made yet, Sony may have stopped the production of some PlayStation 4 models. This is stated by a Japanese retailer. Some PlayStation 4 models may no longer exist.

The post was found and translated by Cheesemeister on Twitter. The retailer told customers that five different PlayStation 4 models will no longer be stocked “due to the manufacturer halting production”. It is thought that Sony has reduced the production of new PS4 models.

Models are estimated as; PS4 500GB Glacier White, PS4 1TB Jet Black, PS4 1TB Glacier White, PS4 2TB Jet Black, and PS4 Pro 1TB Glacier White. Also, in many countries, it is said that Sony has stopped production and the stocks will not be replenished. No official comments or statements have yet been received from PlayStation.
