Stories Feature Revealed in Some of Spotify’s Playlists

Spotify, one of the world’s largest online music streaming platforms, once again revealed the stories feature. In the recent weeks, some of the playlists created by the company included the stories feature. As we were informed before, the stories feature was first seen in the snapchat app. After the Snapchat application, they implemented the same feature in Instagram. After the positive feedback of the users, it has become a feature that can be used on almost all social media platforms. Twitter and LinkedIn were also among the platforms that incorporated this feature.

Spotify, the popular online music streaming application, also took its place among the companies using the stories feature. However, it seems like they have integrated this feature a little differently, since it is not a social media platform, at least for now.

Stories Feature Can Also Be Added To Spotify

If you open the Christmas Hits playlist created by the platform by entering the Spotify application on your Android or iOS device, you can see the stories prepared for this list. The story includes tracks from artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Kelly Clarkson and Pentatonix. The Christmas Hits list isn’t the only place where the stories feature is found. The playlist for Tear Drop and Megan Thee Stallion’s Good News album includes stories as well. According to the information released, Spotify explained that they are simply testing the new feature. So it is currently unknown whether the stories feature will be used permanently.

“We routinely run various tests to improve our users’ experience,” a Spotify spokesperson said in a statement. The company spokesperson stated that some of these features can meet users in a wider sense. Spotify’s stories feature was released earlier this year and only used one social media phenomenon. Almost all the platform has stories feature. However, it wouldn’t be a big surprise if it is permanently embedded in Spotify.
