Twitter named its feature “Spaces“, which will allow users to make voice calls. The company, which creates an official Twitter account for this feature, states that “sometimes 280 characters are not enough”. Twitter has stated that it will convey the developments regarding the Spaces feature through this account, which has only shared a few shares. So how exactly will Twitter’s upcoming Spaces feature work? According to the statements made by Twitter, the feature named Spaces can only be used by two users or a group. So, thanks to this feature, you will be able to make a voice conversation with another user or group of users you follow.

The company stated that the users will have full control over this feature. Twitter says it can even be decided which user can speak. In addition, Spaces will also have important features such as reporting and blocking. Other information obtained about Spaces shows that people who will use the feature can create unique connections. In other words, a user who opens a chat room will be able to invite users with the unique link he/she creates. Also, the user will be able to invite only users of his/her choice to the chat room.

Moreover, these links can also be customized. For example, a user invited with a link can be a speaker, and a user invited with a link can only be a listener. In addition to all this, users will be able to use several emojis during voice calls. In this way, they will be able to ensure a healthier communication. It is currently unclear when the Spaces feature will be available for all users.
