Although they have formed the skeleton of the game, it will be difficult for a different company to continue the project. The official statement is as follows;
Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines 2 Postponed Once Again
“Good morning, as you may have noticed, we have been quiet for a while. In this context, our first news for you is that Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines 2 is still in development. Second, the Hardsuit Lab team made a difficult decision that it will no longer lead the development of Bloodlines 2. This means that we will not be able to release the game in 2021 as we had previously planned, since we are currently unable to set a new release date, we have decided to stop accepting pre-orders for now.
We would like to thank the Hardsuit Lab for their efforts and hard work on the project. The studio has done a tremendous job laying the foundations for the game, and I hope you appreciate their contribution to Bloodlines 2. Thank you for your support throughout the game’s development phase. We will notify you of Bloodlines 2’s future development team as soon as possible. “
