World’s First 5G Supported Electronic Ink Screen Smartphone: A7 5G

Hisense, better known for its tv products, announced the world’s first 5G connectivity-enabled electronic ink screen smartphone “A7 5G“. The working principle of the phone, which has a screen different from conventional screens, works without the need of backlight. As a matter of fact, the price of the phone, produced exclusively for China is quite high. The phone, called “A7 5G“, has a slightly different structure than the LCD, LED and AMOLED screens we are used to so far. The smartphone is produced only for China and it seems to be able to find buyers outside of China.

Hisense A7 5G has a 6.7-inch display with 300 ppi brightness. This screen doesn’t work like the flat panels we’re used to. So much so that the light is reflected on this screen as it is on paper. In this way, there is no need for background light. This screen technology is also used in e-reader products released today. Thus, the world’s first smartphone with electronic ink screen with 5G support, is powered by the UNISOC Tiger T7510 processor. In fact, the power is supported by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. There is a front camera in the frame above the screen of the phone which has a single rear camera. The phone, which has a 4,770 mAh battery, offers 18 watt fast charging support. Also, consumers are experiencing Android 10 on this smartphone.
